The Slough Consortium of Grammar Schools consists of four schools: Herschel Grammar, Langley Grammar, St Bernard’s Catholic Grammar, and Upton Court Grammar. They share a common 11+ entrance examination, meaning your child only sits the test once to be considered for any of the four schools

English: Reading comprehension and technical English.
Mathematics: Key Stage 2 curriculum-based questions.
Verbal Reasoning: Logic and language-based puzzles.
Non-Verbal Reasoning: Spatial awareness and pattern recognition (includes Spatial Reasoning).
Langley Grammar: Uses a series of "geographic areas" (Area 1 being the core catchment of Slough and surrounding postcodes like SL3, SL1, SL2).
Herschel Grammar: Prioritizes those living within a specific distance (often within the SL postcode area).
St Bernard’s Catholic Grammar: As a faith school, they prioritize baptized Catholic children who meet the 111+ score
Upton Court Grammar: Prioritizes those living within a certain distance from the school (postcodes SL1, SL2, SL3, and parts of TW, UB, etc.).
School Portal: You must register your child on the Slough website by June 5th. This is mandatory to sit the test
